CCA chemical treated wood. It has been banned from retail sales but has some kind of exemption for coastal areas - which is nuts.

Howard,

Is there a product in the organic program that we can use to treat our lumber that will preserve the wood?

Thanks for the info Joe!

I didn't think there was an organic method of wood treatment. I was sort of leaning towards using untreated timbers for building some raised beds, and letting them rot over time.
