In Howard Garrets Texas Gardening book it states that you should double the concentrate for soil application. 4-6 oz Garrett juice concentrate per gal. water.

Online at the recipe page (http://www.dirtdoctor.com/Organic-Recip ... _vq204.htm) it says to use 1-1/2 cups of Garret Juice Concentrate to 1 gal water.

I emailed support and they told me to use 4 oz of concentrate per gal. of water.

Which is right?

It doesn't really matter. I use what my ex-husband calls the "vibration method" (I guess his mother used a similar approach to cooking as I do) - shake it up then pour it in until it feels right. It isn't a precise amount. Either one is fine, depending on how it looks, how much you have, how often you plan to use it, etc.

Ok good. I think I will go with the strongest since this is the first time I have planted anything in this area and it needs a little extra care.

I was just hoping it was not too much or too little to do any good. This is the first time we have used it on a larger scale. 11,400 sq ft.

Thanks for your response!!

There is a difference.

This recipe calls for compost tea:
Mix the following in a gallon of water.

Garrett Juice (ready to spray):
1 cup compost tea or liquid humate
1 ounce liquid molasses
1 ounce apple cider vinegar
1 ounce liquid seaweed

When using Garret Juice Plus - it is a the commercial product and a concentrate, it is mixed at 2 - 4 oz. per gallon of water.
