A co-worker of mine has a milkweed beetle problem. We are sure that is what it is. I looked in the Texas Bug Book for treatment. It reccomends neem. I've never used it before, how is it best to use?
Garden is in Corpus.

Thanks

Neem can be tricky. What else is growing in the area? It doesn't have a great shelf-life as a liquid, and it can burn a lot of other plants (ask me how I know. . . ) There is supposed to be a more stable powder form, but I haven't seen or used it.

I have used Neem in very extreme situations. I find it only burn when the temps are hot. This time of year it should be fine. Spray early in the morning before any bee action so they don't get in it.
