We drove through our coastal fields yesterday and they are covered in grasshoppers. Any ideas of how treat the situation. There is about 120 acres

I use to loose 1 1/2 cuttings of hay each year to grasshoppers, (they love organic hay and grass). We found that Garlic Spray with a organic foliar feed fertilizer and Shacklee BasicH2 works wonders on leaf eating insects, the insects do not like the taste, and the livestock love it! The other thing nice about doing it this way is that the garlic becomes systemic in the plant and does not was off the way that Pesticides do. You can find out more on Our Organic Programs at www.WatsonRanchOrganic.com
Good luck,
Bradley Watson
