Hello Everyone! :D I'm new here and have just inherited a greenhouse. Haven't the foggiest idea how to grow things in a greenhouse. Lettuce is my growing passion outdoors. Can anyone steer me in the right direction to learn about growing lettuce in a greenhouse - like during the winter months?

Thanks,
Slugkiller

I got a growing dome last year and it is a whole different bag then growing outside in a garden. I would get the 'Greenhouse Gardener's Companion' by Shane Smith. Normally I wouldn't suggest buying much of anything for gardening, but growing indoors is very different from growing outside. This book is great and it has several charts for when to start plants for the next season. I had my tomatoes going in February and now they are 3 and 4 feet tall. It is a definite advantage but you really need to have a different mind set. I am used to mulching everything outside, inside it just rots because of the higher humidity. Also pay for good soil. It will really benefit you in the long run with much fewer weeds and problems. Good luck.
