I have 4 violet leaves that have been rooting in water for the last month. the root hairs are about a half inch long so i think that it is time to pot them. i would just like to know where to go from here. i would like to come up with my own soil (or soiless) mix and nutrient program (from an organic standpoint). most of what i see on the internet is not organic. i have read the one thought below in this discussion board and found the milk idea quite interesting. i would simply like to hear more thoughts and ideas that others are doing. and please be specific as to watering/feeding specifics----i am new to violets and have always thought of them as a very particular plant to grow and keep happy. would love to hear as much as possible. thanks to all.
