I have planted some daisies that are running out of control. They look real nice but they are taking over my flower beds! How do I successfully transplant half or 2/3 of them to another location without harming the other plants. Do I have to wait till they are dormant?

If they are taking over & you want to relocate them, I don't see a problem w/doing it now. Not ideal but they're probably a hardy plant & will survive. I have transplanted a lot in hot weather & kept up w/watering & all is well.

PS-they're probably 'shasta' dasies.
