I have a low growing, creeping variety of St. John's Wort, Hypericum calycinum I believe. I know the common variety that people use for depression is Hypericum perferatum, but I can't find this variety in any local nursery. Do they share the same medicinal qualities?
I love the lush creeping manner of the calycinum:)
Thanks,
Mary

Let me ammend the above question:
I am unsure about the specific variety I have in my garden, as the leaves are very small (about quarter of an inch long)
Thanks all!
M
