If I spray the orange oil and vinegar mix around my above ground swimming pool would it eat the plastic?

It could. I have a PVC greenhouse building that I need to trim around and I've had the same concerns - I think if you get orange oil on some furniture finishes it will eat them up. Do what the product tags say - test it first in a spot where it won't impact the function of the pool, or be visible.
