I read an article in Ready Made Magazine that said to take 3 tennis balls and throw them in the dryer with your clothes. It said it will fluff them up and prevent static. I haven't tried yet, just sharing what I read.

I recently purchased Shaklee's "Get Clean" dryer sheets. The box says they are vegetable-based and biodegradable. The box also stated that the sheets are nontoxic, natural, no fragrance, and recylable. So far I've been pleased. They are not the waxy cloth type like Bounce. They seem to work well for me.

I use 1/2 cup plain white vinegar in rinse cycle. Helps with static cling and to remove excess detergent.

Read on a homesteading site to add a ball of aluminum foil to the dryer to prevent static cling. It's working for me & the ball of foil is not very big...b/w pingpong size & tennis ball.
I use vinegar in the rinse water instead of store softener.
