Post subject:  ACT and Compost

Until I am able to produce my own compost, I must purchase my compost. Unfortunately, my selection is limited. Therefore, which of the following would be the best to use, either from Back to Nature or Hu-More?

Back to Nature: http://www.backtonaturecompost.com/flash_index.html
I can get any of these products locally, except the acidified cotton burr compost and the chicken manure.

This is not fully composted but does make a good mulch. Would this still be okay to use in my compost tea?

Hu-More: http://www.hu-more.com/htmlsite/product.html
All of these products are fine-screened, I believe.

Sorry that there are so many links, but I want to use the best stuff available. The cotton burr compost would be the least expensive to use, but I am unsure as it is not fully composted. Thanks for any suggestions.

Almost any form of mature compost will produce a high bacterial aerobic compost tea brew.

Only mature composts made from decomposed wood products like sawdust, bark, etc. produce high fungal aerobic tea brews.

Bacterial teas are best for general use, or for foliar feeding.

Fungal teas are best for soil drench applications, or for disease control for certain crops.
