Okay, so I'm starting to get flowers on my tomato plants. Yay! I've kind of pre-accepted failure for this year though, so I haven't done much to my plants. So I've done minimal trimming of branches on the trunks of the plants, and I'm noticing a lot of the lower branches seem to have leaves turning yellow, turning brown, wilting a bit, maybe some holes.

Advice?

Oh yes, I've nicely almost killed off my rosemary bush between the two with overwatering. I'm awesome!

The yellowing could be from over-watering, or from disease. The most common tomato disease in this area seems to be early blight, but it's late in the season for that to just be starting. Do the plants seem sick? Is there progressive plant disease as far as you can tell? Can you post a pic?

My general remedy for tomato fungus is cornmeal tea sprayed a couple of times a week. There are a couple of systemic diseases for which there is no treatment or cure. More info would be helpful.

Unfrortunately, my digital camera situation is very complicated. The rest of the plant looks pretty healthy. I probably did overwater. I take the condensation from the air conditioning and dump it in there a lot. Somebody somewhere said long ddep waterings promote root growth...

tomato plants want to become dry between waterings. with the mild temps we have, I water maybe once every 5-7 days depending how hot it gets during the day.
