I live in Argyle, TX with red clay soil and need to screen about 200' from our neighbors.
I do not want to use live oaks, and prefer something like holly or wax myrtle. I want them to get at least 15' tall.
These will be planted on the NORTH SIDE of an established treeline that has various deciduous trees. Trees in that treeline are mostly post oak, but also hackberry and bois d'arc.
Recommendations?

Do you have access to eastern red cedar? We have millions (well, it seems like it) popping up all over our land & we transplant some for 'screening'. If you want to come dig your own you certainly welcome!

PS-our 20 ac is on the edge of Dodd City east of Bonham. If you really want some free cedars, PM me!
