After having just moved to a new place with some actual possibilities for gardening areas I have a thousand ideas to explore that have been stewing for my whole adult life. My wife and I are very excited. First maybe there are some on this board who could help us ID some of the plants on the property. Here's the first. It is a bush like shrub or tree about ten or twelve feet high. Some pictures. Thanks in advance.

Great pictures, this is a Mexican Buckeye which is a wonderful plant. Where do you live and how big is your property. We might be able to come over to help ID stuff.

Thanks Tony. I researched some and learned that it puts on some nice blooms in the spring. Will be looking forward to that. We live on FM 205, a short distance from Stephenville. It's a narrow 10 acre strip with a lot of cedar and oak. Just bought my first head of livestock. A 18 month old $35 donkey. After reading about the toxicity of mexican buckeye, grazing the yard might be out.
