If you live near Dallas, the new Trinity River Audubon Center is a great place to visit. The grand opening was this weekend and there were more people than birds. There were about 8 Scissor-tailed Flycatchers lined up on one fence line, before continuing their journey south.

There are lots of trails and wet lands are being established. It should become a great birding location.

It is just south of Dallas, near I45.
