I live in the Durant/Mead area, and I am beginning my garden. I just
purchased 8.5 acres so there is room to grow. The down side is I am alone with a shovel and a hoe. Would anyone like to share the work as
well as the crop?

The post identification-side-bar "thingy" (since I do not know the proper term) states your location as Dallas, TX. To clarify, you are in Oklahoma, correct? People who may be new to the area and unfamiliar might benefit from knowing..

What a great opportunity for someone in your area!
