The search for the Ivory-billed Woodpecker in the Big Woods of Arkansas will continue with renewed vigor this October. The Cornell Lab of Ornithology will manage another significant effort to locate the Ivory-bill.

The Cornell Web site recently released possible recordings of Ivory-bill "kent" calls and what may be a diagnostic "double-knock."

Visit the Lab Web site at http://www.birds.cornell.edu/ivory to hear the recordings and for the latest information on the search.
