Isn't it a little early for crepe myrtles to turn yellow and start dropping their leaves? I wrote, the other day, about these same crepe myrtles not blooming as well this year. I haven't sprayed them with anything...just use a general fertilizer...or rather the yard people do.

I live in a gated community and the whole area is done by the same people. Othere crepe myrtles seem to be ok.

Is the program that they are using organic or synthetic?

Also, please provide your location area in your profile, advise will be different for you if you live in Mich. vs. Texas. Just City and State is needed.

Well, some of mine are doing the same thing. We had the coolest, wettest summer in a looooong time. Tomorrow & Friday will likely accelerate it again

Some get ready for fall faster than others. I would relax.

The Crepes I started as hardwood cuttings last winter are doing the same thing. As soon as they go dormant I will be putting into 3 gallon pots.My pink ones were the first to start the changes, the whites the last.
