I grew this tree from a seed and babied it all winter. Just could't wait until April to plant it. It survived the strong winds and was beginning to look good. To make a long story short, the neighbors dog chewed off the top. Do you think it will grow more leaves or will it just die as a stick?????

Only time will tell.

Watch for new buds emerging, and then if ti resumes growing:

#1- Speak to your neighbor and ask them to please control their animal.
#2- Regularly apply garlic pepper tea (weekly) to the young tree so that if Rover's owner is careless again, Rover will take one lick and run for the hills never to approach that tree again.
