Hello, we have two dogs, one is two and the other is about six months old. the dogs seem to have no certain place that they want to poop, so thay poop all over the yard. I can't even take out the trash without dodgeing landmines. Is there a way to make the dogs poop in just one area of the yard?

THanks

Eventually most dogs will pick a certain area. In the meantime mix up some molasses and water to a dark tea consistency and pour it on the land mines. It will make them break down very quickly. Amazingly quickly. And they won't stink so much either! You could gather the poop and then place it in the preferred area if you like to give them a hint. Then apply the molasses. You'll be much happier!

For anyone else reading this with an untrained puppy, the first time you put the puppy's housetraining newspapers outside, put them where you want puppy to poop. I did that with our new dog and she never fails to go in the ivy.
