I have several acres with pine trees (I live south of Houston). I'm cutting back ivy/weeds from the base of the pine trees, and they keep coming back. Does anyone have suggestions of killing the weeds and ivy, without harming the pine? any help / feedback would be greatly appreciated, dawn

You can use the vinegar weed killing mixture. It will not hurt the tree. Re-apply as needed. Mixture on link below.
