I am concerned about these four trees that this year show signs of something wrong. Please can someone tell me what these trees are and what could be happening to them? Last year the branches were full of leaves and beautiful! This year as spring has progressed they just aren't leafing out. They look very bad. Can some one help? Thank you. Below is link to view the trees.

Can you tell us what sort of trees they are? Hard to tell from the photos.

When trees act sick, first thing you need to look at is 'what has changed?'

Anything new in the landscape? What's been used on the soil? Change in watering pattern?

Check into these things, then hit themwith the sick tree treatment and see what happens.

Thank you for replying. I am going to have my husband take new pics of the trees up close so the trunk can be seen, and some other angles. As far as I know the only thing that has been different is, 3 or 4 weeks ago we experienced heavy rain to the point of flooding, but they weren't looking good even before that. We do have gophers on our property and all I have used for ant control, is ortho orthene at the base of some of the trees, because the ants were building there. However I only have done this once, since we have moved here, and that was a year ago. The thing is, no other types of trees close to these trees show any signs of a problem.
I hope to be sending the pics within the next two days. Thanks again.
