Does anyone know of a source in the Dallas area for brugmansias (angel's trumpet)? I have seen Daturas at Redenta's, but nowhere have I seen brugmansias.
Thx,
K

Hi,
I just wandered if you know you can buy these on Ebay?

I haven't tried Ebay. That would be a good idea if I can't find them locally.

I just received the pink brugmansia I'd ordered from SelectSeeds.com. It looks very healthy. They're shipping to our zone right now.

Good morning Kay - you asked for a source in Dallas and I haven't been out enough in Dallas yet to have seen any, but a friend of mine and I went to the Blue Moon nursery in Edom, TX and I'm pretty sure they had some.

I saw that your location said East TX, so I thought you might be close enough to go there. I would call first to make sure they still have some. They sell out of things fairly quickly, especially after a weekend.

Good luck

Thanks Spltx, but I am in East Dallas, not East Texas. One of these days I might make a run over to Edom just for the pleasure of the drive, and to check out the Blue Moon Nursery.

LOL - sorry Kay - takes a long time for my brain to get it all together in the morning. I have been reading everyone's comments on Rosemary this morning and think I will call North Haven and see if they have any. I have a new bed on the west side of my house and am trying to decide what to plant. Very sunny location.

Good luck with the angels trumpet. As a closing thought, I have a friend in San Antonia that has the white variety of the plant and usually saves seed from it. Would you like me to ask her if she has any seed right now? I know she would love to share if she does.

Sandra
