Have just discovered clusters of tiny bead-like black eggs on the Autumn Joy Sedum. The clusters look like small caviar. Will someone tell me what they are and if they are a potential pest or beneficial? Many thanks.
I did manage to take a fuzzy photo, but am new to this website and don't know how to attach it.[/img]

I'm certainly no expert but that sounds like a big fat worm's poopoo.
